White House Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Photos Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have released a additional set of what they described as "troubling" photographs from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—some of which have been seen before—plus another 70 issued later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is examining the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Photos

Featured among the notable figures visible in the opening set are celebrities such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

White House Reaction

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false storyline."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a White House spokesperson said, asserting that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by consistently demanding openness, releasing thousands of pages of papers, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Panel Member Remarks

The photos were disclosed lacking captions, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's links with the rich and powerful.

"The moment has come to end this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he stated in a release.

The release of these materials coincides with the House panel continuing its inquiry into the Epstein matter.
