The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot including angels, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the team reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Explorers and Planners groups.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
