In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.
The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
